(I am interested in the mirrors--flat,
parabolic, and also the elliptical one
I made last year (unless you have been
able to get a REAL elliptical mirror).
It is made of cardboard and lined with
aluminized mylar.

- I would like the Galileo rolling ball experiment (down
a grooved plank) using water flow into a cup to meas-
ure the time.
I would also like several pendulums of the same length
but with bobs of different masses, as well as a
pendulum whose length can be changed fairly easily.
A big stop watch that the whole class can see would also
be useful.

- I need a large styrofoam cup with small holes burned
in the sides parallel to the bottom and just above the
bottom, to demonstrate lack of gravity in free fall.
I also need a large basket to catch it, in and a ladder
to stand on to drop it.

- 1: I didn't get to do the styrofoam cup drop,
so I need it again.
2: I'd like to have a 2x4 with several identical nails
in it, spaced about 5", all started to the same depth
into the wood, but with most of their length showing.
Then I want a lead weight--perhaps 5 lb--that
I can drop from different heights, on different nails,
so I can measure how far each nail is driven by the
same weight falling a greater distance. This is a reconstruction of a Galileo experiment.
3: Finally, I would also like the set of steel balls
that illustrate dimensional scaling--that is,
weighing the 2" vs. 8 1" balls.

- I just need something that goes "bang", such as
the big capacitor that gets charged up and discharged with a screwdriver. Also something that
flashes like a 1-time strobe or camera flashgun.

- Frames of Reference
(Please set the tape to about 13 minutes from the beginning--that is, the beginning of accelerated frames. Also I
didn't get to show Brownian motion on Tuesday, so if we could have it again... Thanks. PS: I don't see either the
black globe or the depressed membrane curved-space gravity demo listed in the manual. I would like them both.
