- I’ll need three polarizers, a quarter-wave plate, a half-wave plate, a light source, and a target. I have the 1 m optical rail in the classroom, components I could mount on that would be convenient. A laser would be fine for the light source if it’s convenient, then I can just use the wall as a target with 30cm lens to blow up spot. I had to give two lambda/4 plates since I didn't have 1/2 wave.
