- Centripetal Acceleration
- video - Pascal's Vases
- Magdeburg Hemispheres
(Mike, I would also like to have a Bunsen burner and a
ring, to boil water in a Coke can and crush it; also a
glass or two and some thin smooth cardboard--slips of
oak tag will do, or 3x5 cards, as long as they are
big enough to cover the mouth of the glass.
In addition, do you have anything to illustrate
scaling--for example ball bearings of different
diameters? I recall there was once a demo of this
sort where you balance 8 spheres against 1 that
has twice the diameter.

- video - Van de Graaff Generator
(
I actually want the Wimshurst machine. The reason I
didn't ask for it last time is it does not seem to be
listed among the demos.
)
- video - Forces Between Current Carrying Wires
(
Once again I want the bell wire and the nail--
preferably a de-magnetized nail--and a battery, to
make a simple electromagnet.)
- Flash Bulb Coil
(I'd also like the triple coil + galvanometer,
to show that how much voltage you get depends on
how many turns of wire you get. Doesn't seem to
be listed.
)
- Electric Motor
(
I'd also like the little motor-generator connected to
the electrolytic capacitor, showing that energy goes
in when you crank, and comes back out again turning
the motor.
Thanks for all the hard work.)
- Physics Spaceflight Series
(
Basically what I want here is the one where they drop a
hammer and a feather on the Moon.)

- Frames of Reference
(
Please set the tape to about 13 minutes from the beginning--that is, the beginning of accelerated frames.
Also I didn't get to show Brownian motion on Tuesday, so if we could have it again...
Thanks.
PS: I don't see either the black globe or the depressed membrane curved-space gravity demo listed in the manual. I would like them both.
