Boiling Water in a Paper Cup

Purpose:

To demonstrate the effect of heat conductivity.

Procedure:

Set up a paper cup on top of the Bunsen burner. Burn either empty cup or the top of the water filled cup, and boil the water in the water filled cup.

Equipment:

Paper Cup
Bunsen burner
