video - Tuning Fork Beats

Purpose:

To demonstrate beats between sound sources of slightly differing frequencies.

Procedure:

DEMO VIDEO DOWNLOAD w/ sound / 854x480 / 5.69Mb/s / 153MB size

The tuning forks can be made to differ in frequency by adding a small bit of wax to one of the tines. Varying the amount of wax used will change the beat frequency.
