video - Diffraction & Interference in Ripple TankPurpose:To demonstrate various wave phenomena using ripples/waves on top of water surface.Procedure:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The ripple tank (a water filled tank illuminated by the overhead projector light) can be used to demonstrate various wave phenomena. The driver has different heads available to generate spherical as well as the plane waves. Double or single slits of various spacing can be easily set up. The amplitude and the phase shift of the individual driver heads can be adjusted. ![]() ![]() |
