Archimedes' Principle IIPurpose:To demonstrate the density variation of water with temperature.Procedure:Place ball in beaker of cold water. The ball has a slight positive buoyancy and will just float. When the water is heated with the bunsen burner its density decreases and the ball consequently sinks.Equipment:
