Purpose:To demonstrate various kind of thermometers and physical principles allowing to measure temperature.
Procedure:Our collection includes but is not limited to regular mercury or alcohol expansion thermometers, show and tell bimetallic strip thermostats w/ mercury switches, gas ball (using ideal gas law and pressure measurement to deduce the temperature), thermistors (resistance strongly dependent on temperature materials, usually w/ negative coefficient), bi-metal thermocouples (voltage difference dependent on temperature) etc.
