Coupled Pendulum Oscillators

Purpose:

To demonstrate energy exchange in coupled oscillating systems.

Procedure:

The oscillating system may be used in either the two or three pendulum modes to demonstrate the transfer of energy between normal modes of a system.

Equipment:

Large two pendulum coupled system
Large three pendulum coupled system.
