Air Driven Devices

Purpose:

To illustrate the air driven siren and the way in which small turbines driven by air pressure can be rotated to high speeds.

Procedure:

By using the compressed air available at the lecture table, the siren and small turbines may be driven. The turbines are rather small and hard to observe, so are best as after class, hands on toys.
